Stowarzyszenie Gromada Łętownia is an association founded in 2025 to care for the cultural, historical and natural heritage of Łętownia and its surroundings. Through our work, we aim to strengthen community ties, develop local culture and traditions, and support initiatives that encourage civic and social awareness.
Our priority is researching, documenting and promoting the region’s history and culture, with particular attention to Kliszczak and highlander traditions. We seek to preserve and share Łętownia’s unique heritage both in Poland and abroad. We also support people connected with our village’s history and culture, helping to ensure their achievements receive the recognition they deserve.
One of our key tasks is developing historical, social and cultural awareness among children and young people. Through education and activities that bring people together, we hope to inspire younger generations to participate actively in local community life.
The association also undertakes artistic, social and craft activities, promoting healthy lifestyles, sport and recreation. We support environmental initiatives and local tourism, highlighting the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
We represent the interests of Łętownia’s residents through cooperation with local and national authorities and other organisations. We also support non-governmental organisations with similar aims, helping them develop.
Our work relies on the commitment of our members, whom we support through opportunities to learn and develop their skills. We believe that working together can create a strong, aware community that cares for its heritage with respect and pride.
