Donations

If you support our mission and aims, you can help our work by making a monetary donation. Your support allows us to carry out cultural, educational and community projects that contribute to local development and protect Łętownia’s cultural heritage.

Terms for online monetary donations

§1 General provisions

1. These Terms govern the acceptance of monetary donations by Stowarzyszenie Gromada Łętownia, with its registered office at Łętownia 768, 34-242 Łętownia, entered in the National Court Register under number 0001147873 (hereinafter the “Association” or “Recipient”).
2. Donations are accepted exclusively to further the Association’s statutory aims.

§2 Legal nature of donations

1. A payment to the Association made through its website or dedicated payment forms is a voluntary monetary donation within the meaning of Article 888 of the Polish Civil Code.
2. Funds received through donations are used exclusively to further the Association’s statutory aims, in accordance with the Polish Act on Public Benefit Activity and Volunteer Work.
3. The Association does not conduct business activities in accepting donations. A payment does not constitute a fee for purchasing goods or services.
4. The Association may give the Donor a tangible or intangible token of thanks for their support. This is a non-reciprocal benefit and is not connected with the paid supply of goods or services.
5. Given the nature of the payment, the Association does not issue sales documents such as receipts or invoices.

§3 Payment procedure and confirmation

1. Donations are accepted through the payment operator Stripe, registered as Stripe Technology Europe Limited Ireland, number 0599050, at 25/28 North Wall Quay, Dublin 1, D01H104.
2. The Donor may choose the amount of their donation freely.
3. The Donor accepts that the Association will record the payment as “Darowizna na cele statutowe Stowarzyszenia” (donation for the Association’s statutory purposes).
4. Eligible individuals and entities may deduct the donation from their taxable income under the rules of Polish law. At the Donor’s prior request, the Association may issue written confirmation of receipt of the donation.

§4 Final provisions

1. The controller of personal data is Stowarzyszenie Gromada Łętownia, with its registered office at Łętownia 768, 34-242 Łętownia, entered in the National Court Register under number 0001147873.
2. Data are processed to record the donation and further the statutory aims, in accordance with the Association’s Privacy Policy.
3. These Terms enter into force on the date of publication on the Association’s website, 8 November 2025.
