The Premiere of “Disappearing Trades”
Last Sunday was a celebration of traditional crafts and history, which we brought to life together at Łętownia’s fire station.
As Stowarzyszenie Gromada Łętownia, we are deeply moved and grateful for the wonderful turnout, your involvement, the questions you asked the subjects of the films and the inspiring conversations that continued behind the scenes.
The subjects of the films screened at the event — carpenter Edward Gościej and blacksmith Andrzej Hanusiak — are masters of their crafts and guardians of old traditions that have shaped Łętownia and its people for generations. Rooted in local culture, their trades are an inseparable part of our heritage, reminding us of the values on which our local community was built.
Our heartfelt thanks go to everyone who helped make this event possible: the filmmakers, the people whose stories were told, the association’s dedicated members and all our guests. Thanks to you, we could share this exceptional journey through time.
May the inspiration continue! Watch the films presented at the event:
